Still that classically chewy sourdough texture but this one is chocolate on chocolate. First a chocolate levain is fermented with organic Rodelle cocoa. Then the loaf is developed with more cocoa and peppered with dark chocolate chips. Note that while the chocolate chips lend some sweetness, the dough itself is not sweet. Baker's favourite. Pairing suggestion? Peanut butter ;)
